Bigshot Records is requesting sponsorship from corporations, local businesses and charitable organizations to cover our total costs for Music On The Potomac. Our cost to install the new sound system, acoustics and lighting is approximately $10,000, and the cost for each of the 21 performances is $2000, which includes payment for the band and the sound production. We are asking sponsors to help cover a major portion of our total cost of more than $50,000 to produce Music On The Potomac.
One of the benefits of Bigshot Records’ partnership with the Pearl Coalition for this series is that it will provide internship opportunities for local youth affiliated with the Pearl Coalition and the community to learn sound, lighting and general engineering skills while working with our professional crews as they run the live music events. In addition to supporting this worthy endeavor, sponsorship support will be acknowledged and promoted in our marketing campaigns including all printed materials and signage, our extensive social media campaign and newspaper, radio and television advertisements.
